DEFT 8.2 32Bit 64Bit (Multi/ITA)

DEFT Linux è una distribuzione GNU/Linux di software libero basata su Lubuntu, creata da Stefano Fratepietro per usi legati alla Computer Forensics (informatica forense in Italia) e alla sicurezza informatica.


DEFT è basato su Lubuntu 12.10 e le versioni che verranno rilasciate in futuro saranno allineate con la versione completa DEFT.

Si può avviare DEFT anche sui dispositivi più recenti, dato che supporta piattaforme a 32 e 64 bit, con UEFI e Secure Boot come i Macbook e i sistemi pensati per Windows.

Al suo interno sono presenti numerosi strumenti applicativi open source per la computer forensics.

Dal 2008 è spesso utilizzata tra le tecnologie adoperate da diverse forze di polizia; ad oggi i seguenti enti (nazionali ed internazionali) ci risultano usare la suite durante le attività investigative [Fonte Wikipedia]:
